Denplan Dental Care
We offer our practice Denplan Excel Care Scheme where, in return for a monthly fee, your routine dental care is catered for - e.g. tooth coloured fillings, x-rays, examinations, scale and polishes, root treatments, extractions, crowns, bridges, and dentures - only laboratory costs and root canal therapy instruments will incur an extra charge. Unlike some practices, we include Velscope Oral Cancer Screening within this monthly fee.
Our Denplan Excel Care Scheme gives you the peace of mind that there are no hidden extras involved in the cost of your treatment and its value in comparison to other treatment options has been brought home in a Dispatches Programme (Channel 4 ) - The Truth about Your Dentist. The programme exposed some NHS dentists who were advising their patients they were unable to treat them for root canal therapy as they had spent their NHS funds for the year and were suggesting their patients receive root canal therapy privately at a cost of anything between £400.00- £800.00. The programme also found that some NHS patients also had to pay privately for other treatment items e.g. Scale and polishes.
