Laser treatment for gums
Used to adjust soft tissues where necessary and to carry out cosmetic gum lifts in smile makeovers.
Great looking smiles may be spoilt by the appearance of too much gum or uneven gum levels. The so-called gummy smile can be simply corrected by painlessly reshaping the gum using a laser.
Case Study This patient had excessive amounts of gum round her side front teeth making them very narrow at the gum margin and impossible to restore them in the correct proportions of height to width. Using a laser the tissues were sculpted to allow the correct shaped final teeth to be produced.
