Face up to it!

We really do love treating people to beautiful, healthy looking teeth because we know how much happier and more confident a stunning smile can make them feel. But our life enhancing treatments aren’t just focused on the mouth, we also offer a ravishing range of non-surgical treatments to smooth and refresh other areas of the face too.

Smooth operators

We can tackle those annoying ‘dynamic’ wrinkles caused by repeated facial movements, such as frowning and smiling, by using an ultra-fine needle to carefully inject the affected area with a purified protein. This active ingredient relaxes the muscles that are responsible for creasing the skin and, as it is precisely delivered, the surrounding area remains unaffected, resulting in a more natural look.

This wrinkle busting treatment is mainly used on the top half of the face to smooth out lines on the forehead or around the eyes. They can also be used as a preventive measure as they restrict the repetitive movements that can lead to worrisome wrinkles.

It is a swift process that only takes around 10 minutes, with no need to take any time out to recover. The effects should kick in within a couple of days and are also pretty long lasting (up to around six months). When they do start to wear off, you’ll just need to pop in for a top up.

Fill up on beauty

We also offer dermal fillers to eliminate deeper lines and treat areas of lost elasticity. Tiny amounts of a gel-like substance are injected into areas that could benefit from a little plumping up. These fillers can be used to reduce the depth of lines that run from the nose to the mouth and sort out marionette lines that lead from the corner of your mouth downward. They can also help sculpt cheeks, be used to re-contour noses and add a little something to the chin area. And as if that wasn’t enough they can counteract the loss of moisture, fullness and definition that can result in lacklustre lips, giving you a more appealing pout.

Another speedy treatment, the delivery of dermal fillers shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes (followed by a short massage to ensure even distribution) and the effects are immediate so you’ll soon be good to go!

And remember our facial treatments are delivered by qualified practitioners and carried out in a safe clinical setting. As a dental practice, we’re well used to meeting the highest standards of sterilisation and cross infection controls so you can feel reassured while we spruce up your skin.
